I have now taken two bookings for wedding photography at Great Hallingbury Manor. Fantastic little hotel, with some great nooks and crannies for some really different images, can't wait, watch this space!

New Year New Mentor

This year I have the priviledge of being mentored through the MPA (Master photographers association) by the wonderful and talented Hoss Mahdavi, with a view to furthering my qualifications. It's hard to have your work critiqued so closely, but is the one and only way to learn and move forward. I came straight home and took this shot of Maddie.

Home visit - David

My first home visit of the year up to sunny Norfolk for the day to photograph lovely little David.

Portrait Photographer of the year 2009

In December of 2009 I was awarded the Portrait Photographer of the Year accolade by the BIPP (British Institute for Professional Photography) for central England.
The gorgeous Alice was my model for this image which is my style of powerful facial portraits on dark backgrounds - lush!

Romantic Couples Photography

It's always nice to try something out of the norm (babies being my norm) so when a couple come to me for some romantic shots I can let my imagination run wild!

What a fantastic day. Lovely autumn colours in the photo's. The wedding of my own sister, so difficult to take the photo's and stay emotionally involved, still managed to squeeze a tear or two out though :o)
