Newborn portrait photographer | Sawbridgeworth | Hertfordshire | Essex | London

Today in my studio I had lovely little Lenny. He was very sensitive to touch, so every change of pose resulted in him waking up. He had very wise eyes for one so young! So it was with lots of patience that I acheived a set of portraits for his mum and dad to enjoy for ever more.

Here are a few of my favourites, including the obligatory Christmas hat shot for this time of year…

Newborn portrait photographer | Bishops Stortford | Hertfordshire | Essex | London

Today in the studio I had the pleasure of working with baby Sebastian. I had already photographed him as a bump and his mum and dad had very clear ideas on what they wanted, this always helps the artistic juices to flow! Dad was a farmer so they wanted everything in browns and greens and creams, just scrummy!
Here are just a few of my favourites…

Newborn portrait photographer | Stevenage NCT | Hertfordshire

This gorgeous newborn baby girl came to me on recommendation from a newborn I had photographed the previous week. Both families had met through their local NCT group in Stevenage. There is nothing more satifying than a recommendation, because it means you have made two families happy for the price of one :o)

Here are a couple of my favourites from baby A's gallery:

Today in the studio I had this absolutely adorable little boy. Many moons ago, when I was a scientist, I worked with his mummy. I know I definately get more job satisfaction these days!

Award winning child portrait | Bishop's Stortford

I am absolutely over the moon to have won the title of Child Portrait Photographer of the year 2012 in the Central region of the Master Photographers Association. The competition was judge by Ray Lowe, one of the top judges in the UK, and I beat lots of local professional competition with this gorgeous shot of Isabelle using my pencil portrait style.
Her mummy and daddy were immensely proud of their daughter too...

This little angel was only five days old, but she had been born two weeks late, so she arrived at my studio wide awake and really alert. The majority of the first hour was spent taking portraits of her awake and, I kid you not, but she was smiling at me and the camera, such a lovely little poser. Here is a selection of baby J's session...

I love making newborn babies look as small as possible during their session as well as concentrating up close for those detail shots. It's important to remember just how tiny they were when they were born, because all too soon they will be jumping around your living room :o) Here is Baby Z!

Premature newborn baby portraits in Hertfordshire and London

http://www.yvonnelorraine.co.uk or http://www.mynewbornportrait.co.uk

Some times a session looks right in black and white. Baby "I's" mummy and daddy didn't want anything girly in their session and didn't want bright colours either. They wanted straight forward portraits of their tiny and dainty (premature) baby girl. Baby "I" was home and fit and healthy after an early delivery, but she was still smaller than most babies I photograph at just 5 lb...

I LOVE baby teeth! There is no doubt that the appearance of those first two bottom teeth is monumentous for mummy and to capture them in a portrait takes patience and lots of fun and giggles! Here is Baby O demonstrating how cheeky portrait sessions can be...
